The City of Mercer Island Police Department in partnership with the Healthy Youth Initiative Coalition is coordinating with the United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) to offer a free, anonymous in-person National Med Take Back Day.

This event will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2021 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the loading dock on the west side of the Mercer Island City Hall (9611 SE 36th Street). To protect the safety of staff and volunteers, please follow COVID-19 protocols by wearing a mask and practicing social distancing. Community members will be required to place their own medications into the disposal bins; staff cannot handle the medications.
