We will be joined by Dr. Christine Lee from the University of Washington to share more on their team’s exciting research on young adults (ages 18 to 29) and high-risk behaviors during the transition to adulthood, as well as a newly developed tool Check-In With Yourself. This tool helps young adults get tips for managing stress during this period, and find out more on mood, coping activities and alcohol use compared to others in their peer group.
By participating in this community-led coalition, you will have a voice in shaping Mercer Island Youth and Family Services’ (YFS) mental health promotion and substance abuse prevention efforts through the Healthy Youth Initiative.
Thank you for collaborating with us and sharing your voice to support programming to improve the lives of Islanders. All are welcome. For more information email our Project Coordinator at rachel.montgomery@mercergov.org
